Hello,,

Changes are a part of every day life, whether it is personal changes or work environment changes and what have you changes. Well, having a custom Bible repair and rebind business is no different. Changes are a part of life and something that we should all look forward to. Now I’m not talking about changes that is fixing something that isn’t broken. I am talking about the kind of changes that either you don’t have a choice and need to make or changes that can offer more services.

Changes to the Laser Engraving Customization Options.

One of the changes that is happening is placing the custom laser engraving customization options on hold. I am currently outsourcing these two options, and due to business changes and availability I can no longer offer these services. I am hoping that at some point in the future, I will be able to add these options back, but only if it is the Lord’s will and He provides me with a laser engraver.

New Service That Will be Taking the Place of Laser Engraving

I will be starting a new service that will be taking the place of the laser engraving. I will be including hot foil stamping of the new genuine leather cover of both Bible repair/rebind options. The two hot foil options will be gold or silver. I will be stamping the spine of the cover with the following:

“Holy Bible” on two lines with Bible being under Holy.

Version of the Bible – Initials

Business logo

On the front cover I will be placing “Holy Bible” on one line.

On the inside of the back cover will be the business logo with the business name.

What New Customization Will be Added You Ask

I will be offering a Customization of a personalized name on the lower right of the front cover. This will be hot stamped with either gold or silver, your choice. The price of this customization will be $15 dollars, but is subject to change as well.

Wait There is More That is Being Added

Yes! I am going to be adding another option, which is going to be Custom Bible Repair. What is that going to include you ask! Custom Bible Repair is going to include the following:

  • Removing the original cover
  • Cleaning old glue and material from spine of text block
  • Placing new ribbons
  • Placing new headband and tailband
  • Reinforcing spine with new glue and new Oxford Hollow
  • Repairing torn pages
  • Ironing wrinkled pages and dog ears
  • Place original cover back in place over the text block

There are some requirements in order to do this though. Your Bibles original cover will need to be in somewhat decent shape. If your Bible cover is falling apart, then we won’t be able to use your cover, you would need to have a new cover placed.

With all of that being said, I highly recommend placing a new genuine leather cover on your Bible. The reason isn’t because I will make more money that way, but rather placing a new genuine leather cover will protect and stay on your Bible for a long time into the future. There is a reason your original cover is falling off of your Bible. Change isn’t a bad thing.

Those are Some Major Changes

With all of these changes happening, I am even more excited than ever to take care of your Bible and give it the treatment and care so you can continue to use your treasured Bible for years into the future.

Thank you for choosing Grace Unbound

God Bless!
